Zu faul zum Übersetzen meines Myspace-Blogs, aber passt scho'... außerdem gibt's dort auch einen Translate-Button. ;-)

"Finally all Myspace users can create their own playlists, not only the ones in the U.S., and bands can do this as well now - great stuff!

In the meantime I have searched through our top friends' songs and also added bands from our repertoire list to the Bluezz Bastardzz' Favorites playlist which has 100 songs now. The Female Vocalists playlist is almost full as well, so I created separate ones for Kate Bush, Tori Amos, Alannah Myles and Susan Tedeschi.

You can click on the cross symbol in the player to turn random play on or off if the song order becomes boring. It would be great if you could also add several playlists in the player and have them all played back randomly, would almost feel like a Last.fm radio station then... ;-)

Davon unabhängig ist die Einführung des neuen Myspace-Profils Version 3.0 auch für Bands sowie die Möglichkeit, 100 eigene Songs hochzuladen, wovon man maximal 25 zur Veröffentlichung im Player aussuchen kann, wenn man ein Update auf die neue Profil-Version macht - sonst bleibt es bei 10 öffentlichen Songs im Player. Irgendwann im Laufe dieses Jahres werden übrigens alle Profile (User und Bands) automatisch durch die neue Version ersetzt.

Ein nicht unwichtiges Detail am Rande: Man kann jetzt u.a. auch WAV-, FLAC- und APE-Dateien (= Monkey Audio, verlustfreie Kodier-Formate) bis zu einer Größe von 50 MB hochladen, wodurch man den Zwischenschritt der MP3-Kodierung einspart und eine bessere Klangqualität erhält, weil Myspace die Dateien nach dem Hochladen noch einmal neu zu MP3 kodiert. 50 MB im WAV-Format sind ca. 5 Minuten, bei FLAC oder APE ca. 10 Minuten lange Songs.
