wir haben ja versprochen, einen weiteren Song hochzuladen, sobald unsere neue Facebook-page die 300 Likes erreicht hat. Das hat sehr gut geklappt, deshalb ist ab heute auch der Track "Final Relapse" zu hören. Da das upload - Problem auf Bandnet immer noch akut ist, gibts den Song auf allen Seiten außer hier (sehr schade, wie wir finden). Bitte besucht uns also auf Facebook, Reverbnation, Regioactive etc. um reinzuhören. Hierzu auf den jeweiligen Seiten einfach nach "Killfloor Mechanic" suchen.

Documentary: Jimi - The Fehmarn show. Jimi Hendrix came in 1970 on the first big "Love & Peace Festival" in Germany on the island of Fehmarn for his last festival performance. The performance by Jimi Hendrix was the only ray of sunshine in an otherwise shortly in "wind, rain and sinking into chaos -festival“. A few weeks later, Jimi died at the age of 27 years in London. The filmmakers Rasmus Gerlach, Wolfgang Neitzel and Paul Kulms have researched the history of the first large German open-air festival and the last concert of Jimi Hendrix in a very lively documentary and music film .

This year, Jimi Hendrix would have been 70 years old. In the sixties he revolutionized guitar playing in blues and rock music. In his improvisations he combined elements of blues, soul and jazz to previously unheard way to his own kind of psychedelic music. Jimi Hendrix admired John Coltrane, had "jam-sessions" with BB King and John McLaughlin before he founded his own band, the Jimi Hendrix Experience with the british drummer Mitch Mitchell and Noel Redding on bass.
The musicians in the band of Eddy Whats have their own relationship with Hendrix and his musical roots. Eddy Larmie performed in the 80s with his trio Gotogo his own songs and covers of Jimi Hendrix on festivals in Senegal, Togo and other African countries in front of some 80,000 spectators. In the 90s he toured with his band to Europe and met the drummer Muddy Math in Hamburg. Muddy is a well-known blues drummer and toured with Abbi Wallenstein, B. Sharp and Mytch Ryder in Germany and Europe. On tour he met Mitch Mitchell, the former drummer of the Jimi Hendrix Experience and worked together with him. Mitch Mitchell is regarded as the "Elvin Jones" of rock music, and revealed many of his drum licks to Muddy from his experience playing with Hendrix. Rudy Basso plays the bassguitar in that bunch with a lot of punch from Blues and Jazz Music.

Jetzt haben wir es endlich auch ins Bandnet geschafft. Bisher nur auf facebook, reverbnation, etc unterwegs, können wir nun auch hier mit einem eigenen Profil glänzen...so dachten wir zumindest.
Leider ist es uns noch nicht möglich, euch mit Hörproben zu versorgen, was nicht daran liegt, das es keine gäbe. Es funktioniert schlichtweg kein einziger MP3 - upload, was sehr schade ist, da wir gerade ein Komplettes Album in den LSD-Studios in Lübeck aufgenommen haben. Wenn uns also irgendjemand helfen könnte, bzw. tipps hat, gegen derartige Bugs anzukommen, wendet euch bitte unbedingt an uns! Anschließend gibts natürlich auch was zu hören ;-)

Hallo mein Name ist Rick, bin 18 Jahre alt und spiele seit gut 4 Jahren aktiv E-Bass. Andere Instrumente sind nicht nennenswert! Ich habe bereits in 2 Bands gespielt, habe aber leider noch keine Auftritterfahrung! Hoffe das ändert sich bald, wenn ich hier eine neue Band finde!
